Staff Alton Law Offices is comprised of two attorneys and a dedicated support group. The firm was founded by Attorney Arthur W. Hoover who has forty years of legal experience. Attorney Hoover graduated from Dartmouth College in 1962 and the University of Notre Dame School of Law in 1965. Attorney Melissa Countway Guldbrandsen, a native of Alton and graduate of Alton High School, returned to the area after clerking for the New Hampshire Supreme Court and practicing law at a large firm in Concord, New Hampshire. She is a 1993 graduate (with honors) of the University of New Hampshire and a 2002 graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Law in Chapel Hill (with honors). Deborah Tremblay is the Real Estate Paralegal. Ms. Tremblay coordinates with lenders, buyers, sellers and real estate brokers to ensure that real estate transactions close efficiently. Nolene Borge is the Estate Planning and Probate Paralegal. Ms. Borge has a broad base of experience, and with her attention to detail, she ensures that the estate planning and probate process is smooth and worry-free for the firm’s clients. Mary Sawyer is a Legal Assistant in the office. The entire staff is dedicated to meeting the needs of its clients with friendly, prompt, efficient and expert legal services. Return to Home Page
