Melissa Guldbrandsen


Attorney Guldbrandsen was previously a law clerk for the Honorable David A. Brock, Chief Justice of the New Hampshire Supreme Court and later an associate at the Law Office of Orr & Reno, P.A in Concord. Prior to law school Attorney Guldbrandsen was a middle school math and science teacher. She is a member of the Hearings Committee of the Professional Conduct Committee, in which she hears and resolves complaints filed against attorneys. Attorney Guldbrandsen returned to Alton in 2004, and is a founding member of the Alton Centennial Rotary Club. She is also a founding member of the newly formed Alton Business Association, for which she serves on the Board of Directors.

Attorney Guldbrandsen, a 1989 graduate of Alton High School, graduated from the University of New Hampshire, summa cum laude, with a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics and magna cum laude, with a Master’s degree in education. She attended law school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she was a member of the law review. She received her Juris Doctorate with high honors and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.

Attorney Guldbrandsen is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association and also a member of the Charles E. Doe Inns of Court.

Attorney Guldbrandsen, is married to Thad Guldbrandsen, director of the Plymouth State University Center for Rural Partnerships. They live in Alton with their two boys aged 3 and 9.
